Clipstack: Clipboard History for Mac
Found a bug or have a question? Open an issue on GitHub and it will be answered as soon as possible.
Getting started
- Press ⇧⌘V (or the shortcut you set in Settings › General) to open your clipboard history.
- Use ↑ ↓ to choose an item and Return to paste it. ⌥Return pastes as plain text.
- Use ← → to switch between All, Text, Links, Images and Files, and ⇧⌘P to show pinned items.
- ⌘1–9 pastes one of the first nine items directly, and ⌘P pins or unpins the selected item.
Paste doesn’t work, the item is only copied
Clipstack needs Accessibility access to paste into other apps. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility and turn on Clipstack. If it’s already on, turn it off and on again after an update.
iCloud sync
Turn it on in Settings › Storage. Your Mac must be signed in to iCloud. History, pinned items and settings then appear on your other Macs and come back after a reinstall.
Passwords and private apps
Items marked as passwords are never saved. To stop recording from a specific app, add it in Settings › Ignored Apps.
